Pabertrans’ senior management, fully aware of the evolving needs of the transport sector, remains convinced that Quality, the Environment, Food Safety (SCSA) and the safe transport of active pharmaceutical ingredients for human consumption form the framework against which all our efforts are guided.
This Policy serves as a tool to support the organisation’s strategic direction and the achievement of its objectives and targets, as well as reflecting management’s commitment to actively promoting a culture of food safety.
Our commitment to service, based on service, quality, environmental management and food safety and the safety of active ingredients, has led us to adopt a management model certified to the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and IFS Logistics standards, and to comply with the GDP guidelines (2015/C 95/01) and to implement a Management Policy based on the following principles:
- To fully honour the commitments we have made to our customers and employees, ensuring that their needs and expectations are identified and taken into account at all times, and incorporated into our services.
- To establish a culture of continuous improvement in our internal processes, enabling us to become more efficient and competitive, whilst ensuring the safety of our products, the environmental responsibility of our operations, and the prevention of occupational hazards in all workplaces.
- To improve our efficiency and effectiveness by optimising the human and material resources at our disposal.
- To promote the personal and professional development of our employees.
- To prevent and reduce the environmental impact of our activities, as well as harm to and deterioration of our employees’ health.
- Garantizar el cumplimiento de la legislación y reglamentación aplicable y otros compromisos que la organización suscriba en materia de Calidad, Medio Ambiente Seguridad Alimentaria y de los principios activos para los medicamentos.
- Reducing our carbon footprint and actively contributing to the mitigation of climate change
- Communicate this Policy to all stakeholders and establish effective channels of communication for reporting risks or non-conformities.
As a result of this approach, our efforts are primarily focused on:
- The continuous improvement of our staff’s professional skills through annual training programmes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve our Management System through regular reviews, thereby ensuring that it remains fit for purpose and continues to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive market and a constantly evolving environment.
- To engage our employees, suppliers and other stakeholders in mitigating climate change.
- To promote a culture of food safety based on awareness, commitment, ongoing training and open communication.
- All our employees are responsible for identifying, reporting and addressing risks relating to product safety, as an essential part of our mission to provide safe, high-quality food.
In light of these guidelines, the Management, in coordination with the Food Safety Team, bears ultimate responsibility and reaffirms its firm commitment to ensuring compliance with this policy and to reviewing its contents on a regular basis. This policy is available to anyone who wishes to consult it.
